Fun at the Lake

I copied this picture from my friend Tara's blog. I am surprised it worked! Last week we went to Quail with some of our neighbors to play at the lake. Our neighborhood is so fun because it is mostly younger couples and many of us have babies around the same age. Just on our little corner there are 5 babies within 2 months of eachother! This is Allie, Gabrielle, Ayla and AJ.

Allie

Allie is our sunshine. She is perhaps the sweetest baby ever. Sometimes Alberto and I feel bad because AJ demands so much attention that we will leave Allie alone to entertain herself, but she doesn't mind. She is very self sufficient and loves to discover new things about herself. When she is drinking her bottle, she strokes her cheeks and hair. She loves to look at the colors and patterns on her clothes and ours as well. Most of all though Allie loves her family. She squeals and smiles each time one of us enters the room. She especially loves her brother and every chance she gets, she pulls him close and gives him "kisses".

AJ

AJ is the definitive boy. He is so aggressive and on the go all of the time. Lately he pulls himself up on anything in site and pushes himself back and forth and growls. It is pretty funny. Today he was standing in Allie's crib and grabbed onto the posts and started pushing back and forth and smacked his head on the crib. He looked around as if he was making sure no one saw him and then kept on doing it. He loves attention and always has big smiles for everyone. He is charming just like his daddy and people can't help but love him.
